Become a Greeter

Houstonians, join us! Here’s the perfect opportunity to show off your hometown. Join other enthusiastic volunteers as we host visitors, newcomers and even local residents for some special activities. 

Each greet usually takes 2½ hours, though most Greeters allow two to four hours. Each person – visitor and Greeter – pays his own way. You’ll meet interesting people from around the world, and lots from your own back yard as Greeters enjoy quarterly get-togethers to learn more about each other and the city.

 

Tell us your area of interest – chances are you can support some of the activities we already offer. Or maybe you want to suggest a new activity. We’re open to your ideas. And we’re eager to have another enthusiastic volunteer joining our ranks.
